My background and work

I am an integrative psychotherapist accredited with UKCP and a member of BACP. Before training in psychotherapy my background was in international development. I also have experience working with adults with learning disabilities. The thread that runs through all of my work is a passion for working with people and the value to individuals of having their stories heard and understood.

I now specialise in working with grief and loss in its many forms, including bereavement, identity shifts and life transitions. I also work with creatives and performers whose working lives often involve uncertainty, endings and emotional exposure. I aim to provide a supportive space for you to explore your emotions and experiences without the need to ‘perform’.

In addition to my clinical work, I am a University lecturer, which informs my approach through engagement with up-to-date research driven approaches.
